Can I turn up part way through my session?

Yes, you can arrive anytime during your session but you still have to leave at time your session ends.

How do I get to you?

You can find Ben and the gang at: Unit 2, Central Retail Park, Wrexham, LL13 7SU.

There is a large car park which is free of charge for you to park in for up to 2 hours.

There are also plenty of public transport options nearby. Wrexham Central train station is a 5 minute walk away and there are several bus routes that stop nearby. These include the 2, 2B and 3 which stop by the fire station which is a 2 minute walk away.

What if I want to park for more than 2 hours?

If you intend to park for longer than two hours you will need to enter your car registration number in the terminal location by reception. This will allow you an extra hour in the Central Retail Park car park, staying a maximum of three hours, free of charge.

Can I drop my child off at Banana Ben’s?

No, you are responsible for ensuring your child’s safety and for their wellbeing at all times. If you want to leave our premises you will have to take all of your children and belongings with you.

Can I bring my own food?

With the exception of baby food, we politely ask that no outside food or drink be brought into the play centre. We have our own fully functioning café which offers a selection of hot and cold beverages, light snacks, sandwiches and sweet treats alongside our freshly cooked choices from the menu.

What is a role play street?

Our role play street has six themed rooms which have been designed to offer a creative and educational play experience. Role play helps children gain confidence through social interaction and problem solving.

Are the play frames safe?

The play system has been designed and manufactured to the highest standards required to meet the EN 1176 and 1177 guidelines.

On installation the play system was subject to an independent safety inspection from a specialised leisure industry health and safety body.

The safety of all our visitors is of paramount importance to the Banana Ben’s team. That is why we ask everyone visiting us to familiarise themselves with the Rules of Play to ensure everyone can enjoy the equipment safely.

What ages is Banana Ben’s suitable for?

We offer a safe, secure and stimulating play environment catering for children from 0 - 11 years, with dedicated playzones for babies, toddlers and juniors.

Do you have high chairs & baby changing facilities?

Yes, there are plenty of high chairs that can be borrowed within the café area. There are baby changing facilities located in the Male, Female and Disabled toilets.

Can I bring a pram/buggy?

Yes, there is some limited space in front of the reception desk where you are free to leave your buggies/prams. Banana Ben’s Ltd accept no responsibility for property left here. You may also bring your buggies and prams into the café area, however, if we deem it necessary for you to move it in order to clear fire exits we will ask you to do so.

Do you accept card payments?

Yes, we accept all major debit and credit cards. There is a minimum spend of £1.

What happens if I have a food allergy?

Please speak to a member of our team who can advise you on our menu.

Do you use paper straws?

Yes, in order to minimise our usage of single use plastic at Banana Ben’s we have decided to only use paper straws. Our takeaway cups and bags are made from paper sources too.

Can I buy a gift voucher?

Yes, please enquire in reception about our gift vouchers, they make a great gift!

What training has your staff undertaken?

There is a member of staff on duty at all times with first aid training, fire marshal training and food hygiene level 2 & 3 training.

Do you have wheelchair access?

Yes, the café area and toilets at Banana Ben’s are fully accessible. There are a limited number of disabled parking bays located in the Central Retail park car park.

Am I allowed to take photos or videos?

We understand how people like to capture special moments so we do allow you to use this equipment, however, you may only take photos or videos of your own children.

What should children wear on the play frames?

We recommend that children where long sleeve tops that can tuck in, long trousers and socks.

Do you have lost property?

All belongings left at Banana Ben’s are kept at reception for 1 month after their found date.
